Announcement for professional exam schedule through the year of 2022

We announce the schedule for exams for the year of 2022. All the exams are at a discount of 50% for the year 2022, but are the subject to change in 2023. We encourage candidates to take the exams when they see fit. The schedule for the year of 2023 will see more other exams, thus leaves less space for the exams already offered this year.

Exams are currently offered on every Saturday starting at 10AM (ET time). Candidates should be able to pay the fee to ISODS at least 1 week before the exam date to ensure a slot. All the exams are proctored online via Google Workspace – Google Meet.

Fees can be paid via bank accounts, or credit cards (a convenient fee applies for credit cards by PayPal) with the exact amount required for the intended exam. In the note in the payment, please follow the following format “First name, last name, email to register, address, exam code, date”, corresponding to the first name and last name, and email address of the candidate who takes the exam (should be Gmail), (Street address, city, state and zip code if applicable, country), exam code (e.g. DSA), and exam date in MM/DD/YYYY format. An example is “John Doe, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., (1234 NW Bobcat Lane, St. Robert, MO 65584-5678), DSA, 12/03/2022”.

For DSA exams, candidates will be given up to 3 problems. Candidates will be expected to write the solutions (preferred Python), test cases based on a template, analyze time and space complexity (see leetcode.com for examples).

For ML exams, candidates will be given a dataset, and a problem. Candidates will be expected to write code that walks through steps required in a machine learning project.

For P exams, candidates will be given 20 questions. The format of the questions is similar as in P exams offered by the Society of Actuaries (see sample questions and solutions).
