The International Society of Data Science (ISODS) is proud to announce the roadmap for this year’s Generative AI World Championship. With a central theme of "Privacy-First," the competition focuses on building advanced AI solutions that modernize organizational operations without compromising the security of internal, sensitive data.
The Yankee AI Platform
This year’s competition centers on the use of Yankee AI, a privacy-first agentic AI platform developed by the George Washington Institute at ISODS.
Yankee AI is a freemium platform designed specifically for companies, organizations, governments, and individuals. It empowers users to harness the full potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) while ensuring that data processing remains entirely local and secure.
A Research-Driven Global Finale
Moving away from traditional contests, the global round of the competition will be held in the form of a scientific conference. This format honors high-level Research and Development (R&D) achievements in agentic AI and data sovereignty.
Core R&D Challenges:

Vector Database Engineering: Teams work directly with organizations to collect real-world data and implement optimized ingestion processes. Enterprises/Institutions are encouraged to sponsor their own internal teams to build customized solutions.

LLM Selection & Optimization: Participants research and select the most effective Large Language Models to integrate with the Yankee AI platform for maximum accuracy.

Agentic Orchestration: Systems will utilize AI agents to coordinate complex queries, providing intelligent responses within a secure, local network environment.

Competition Structure & Awards

Global Round: The primary rewards are academic validation and international publication, together with certifications. Additional awards (physical prizes or equipment) are subject to global technology sponsorships available at the time of the conference.

Domestic Rounds: In participating countries where there are domestic rounds, organizing committees will manage and distribute independently local prizes.
Submission & Qualitative Evaluation
To reflect the standards of a scientific conference, teams (which may consist of high school students, university students, and professionals) will submit their projects as comprehensive research and experimental reports:

Submission Format: Teams must provide a link to a YouTube presentation. The video description must include links to a GitHub repository (source code) and Google Drive or a shared storage (containing the Vector Database, original data files, and technical documentation).

Expert Rating: Submissions will be evaluated by a professional committee using qualitative ratings based on criteria such as innovation, and real-world business impact.
Modernizing with Privacy
Each team will develop a "Golden Dataset" derived from the actual data of their partner organization. By utilizing AI agents to manage workflows locally, teams will demonstrate that high-performance AI can be achieved without data ever leaving the user's device.
