As usual, it is time this year ISODS (The International Society of Data Scientists) announces the selected individual for the title "The Most Influential Young Data Scientist of the Year 2021" - Alex Wang, from Australia. Alex received an MEng in Data Science from the University of Sydney, and an MIT from University of Technology Sydney, and BS from Tianjin University of Technology. She has been in various Data Science roles in the industry. Alex has been actively sharing her learning experience to her network on Linkedin via her profile.
Alex is a data science consultant with more than two years of experience in banking and finance. She has a double master’s degree in IT and Data Science. She works at Deloitte, also at UTS as a casual academic teaching machine learning. She shares her own journey of data science learning on LinkedIn to help young professionals to learn how to leverage the power of data. She is also the director of AI4Diversity, which is a non-profit initiative that engages and educates diverse communities about AI to benefit global society.
